Hi, I'm Jem
An Aussie girl, born and raised in a small, rural town in South-East Queensland. I have over eight years of English-teaching experience, with a background in linguistics and curriculum development.
Like many of my students, I've always had a strong desire to travel and see the world. I've lived in France, Italy, and I'm currently living in Spain. I speak two foreign languages fluently (French and Spanish), and I'm currently learning my third (Persian)!
Having experienced the challenges of learning languages firsthand, I can understand my students on a deeper level. I use my knowledge and skills to help learners overcome whatever obstacles they may face in learning Australian English and integrating into the Aussie culture.
